Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association Custom Builder Award of Excellence - 2007 Silver Speculative Luxury Transitional Home

The Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association includes thousands of local building industry professionals. Each year they sponsor a competition entitled the Custom Builder Award of Excellence. The design categories are traditional, contemporary, and a third category called transitional which must include traditional exterior design elements and contemporary interior design features. Entries are evaluated on site design, neighborhood compatibility, quality of workmanship, sensitivity to the environment, and architectural features. The judges evaluate hundreds of homes located in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C.

The highest award compares homes regardless of size or cost in one of the three architectural styles. This category is the most competitive and prestigious. Chuck Sullivan Homes has won the Custom Builder Award of Excellence for this esteemed category for every house they have entered for both speculative and custom homes. In 2008 Chuck Sullivan Homes won the Gold Custom Luxury Transitional Home for the Wyngate project and the Bronze Custom Luxury Traditional Home for the Glenbrook Village project. In 2007, Chuck Sullivan Homes won the Gold Speculative Luxury Contemporary Home for the Cabin John project and the Silver Speculative Luxury Transitional Home for the Hillmead project. We are grateful for this acknowledgment by our peers in the building industry and especially proud that we have demonstrated our quality in both speculative and custom homes in traditional, contemporary, and transitional architectural styles.
