About Chuck Sullivan Homes

Company founder Chuck Sullivan has worked in the local home building business for over 35 years. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, he attended Winston Churchill HS and graduated from the University of Maryland. He worked with Porten-Sullivan Corporation as Director of Operations and Classic Community Corporation as Vice President of Land Development. During these 25 years of experience Chuck was responsible for all aspects of homebuilding, including: feasibility studies, land development, architectural design, project management, and customer service. In 2002, he demolished his own house and built a new home; he has been through the process and understands how it impacts your daily life. In 2004, Chuck started his own company specializing in building homes in established neighborhoods.

Awards

Chuck Sullivan Homes has never built the same house twice and has won the Custom Builder Award of Excellence for every home we have built. No other builder can make this claim. We have won in almost every category: custom, speculative, traditional, contemporary, and transitional architectural styles. We are grateful for this acknowledgment by our peers in the building industry and especially proud that we have demonstrated our quality and versatility.

The Maryland Building Industry Association includes thousands of local building industry professionals. Each year they sponsor a competition entitled the Custom Builder Award of Excellence. Entries are evaluated by a panel of judges on site design, neighborhood compatibility, quality of workmanship, sensitivity to the environment, and architectural features.
